Swimming Together is a workshop with the Longhouse at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.

We're excited to be working with The Longhouse at the Evergreen State College from Monday, February 2nd to Friday, February 13th of 2015.  Participants in our workshop will be using micaceous clay from Northern New Mexico to create sculptures of fish to decorate the Longhouse at the Evergreen State College Campus.  The workshop will  include a discussion of Fish Stories and their significance to participants, the creation of the fish with the clay, sanding and painting the fish and finally firing the pieces in a kiln.

The pieces will be made over a two week workshop and will be installed at the proposed educational building sites, which is  being constructed by The Longhouse at Evergreen State College over the next few years
